Customization options & policy
Would you like to personalize one of our existing designs? Most of our jewelry can be altered to your preferences, such as changing the length of a necklace or bracelet. Please note:
- Contact us before placing an order – we'll let you know in detail whether your request is possible and calculate its price.
- Customizations are priced individually and made to order, therefore additional time is required for processing (up to 4 weeks).
- Customized jewelry cannot be returned, exchanged or altered again.
- Engraved jewelry is also considered to be customized at your request, therefore this policy applies to it. Find out more on our Engraving page.
How to order customized or custom jewelry?
- For custom jewelry design, contact us at info@klenota.com or use our contact form. If you happen to be in Prague, we'll happily discuss creating custom jewelry with you at our studio.
- For customization requests to existing designs you can also use the “Need help?” button located under every product description to submit a question about that particular item – we'll let you know about its options and pricing. Otherwise you can enter your request into the product request box in the shopping cart.
- We'll get back to you with more details about the pricing and customization options of your chosen design.
- For customizations to one of our designs we require an upfront deposit of 20% of the total price. For custom jewelry designs we require an upfront deposit of 50% of the total price. If the order is canceled during production, the deposit is non-refundable.
Free services for custom pieces
We can take care of your custom jewelry long after it has made its way to you. For custom pieces only we offer free lifetime cleaning and if you have a custom ring, its first surface restoration is also free. Please note that while the services are free of charge, we do not cover the associated shipping costs.
